Programming at the Auburn Branch

Featured here are different instances of Read Aloud Time   hosted by the Auburn library branch. This was the first time colored children  were given access to public educational services in Fulton county.

The  Auburn branch offered free venue space for black organizations  in Fulton County.  Some of these organizations include the Phi Delta Kappa Sorority and the Metropolitan Atlanta Association for the Blind (MAAB). 

The Auburn Branch showcased book collections through out the year. Here are two primary collections that were permanantly on display , the Arna Bontempts Collection and the Negro History Collection.
