Shirley Henderson, now Shirley Henderson Coleman is the third girl and final child of Freddye and Jake Sr. Henderson.

She attended the University of Illinois where she got her Bachelor's degree in Advertising. While a student at Spelman College, she studied abroad at the University of Paris on the Charles Merrill, Jr. scholarship and through friend Aliessane Diop, studied at the University of Dakar in Senegal. She attended Elementary School in Atlanta and in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and went to high school in Atlanta and a college-prepatory school in Massachuetts called  Northfield Mt. Herman.

She married Wheldon Coleman, a [enter job held when they were first married] in [enter year here], and the couple has two children, Patrick and Simone.

Shirley and Weldon owned a retail golf shop in [enter location here] which lasted until 2009.

She now works as a development and marketing consultant for a health and rehabilitation center in Atlanta where she previously volunteered.
